Ferrari 458 Italia

An older model I made during school that I decided to revamp and polish a bit. This is probably the oldest piece I have on Artstation and some of the modelling decisions show, but I'm happy with how it turned out. I went with the squeaky clean showroom look for the sake of the projects brevity, but I would like to do a few variations with rain and mud (A muddy Ferrari! The Horror!)

The revamped rims exposed a lot of the smoke and mirrors of the model, so a lot more suspension elements needed modeling.

The 458 is probably my favorite silhouette that Ferrari has ever designed. Such as pretty car to work with. A little lens flare action because it's not a subtle car. =)

This project is so old that this scene is rendered in Mental Ray. Oh how times have changed.
